A For Care Customer is someone that has registered to use the For Care platform to find care and support services.
A For Care Provider is someone that has registered to use the For Care platform to deliver services or supports, for example this can include Nurses, Therapists, Aged Care Workers, Disability Support Workers, Peer Workers and more.

As a Customer, you can include details of any funding packages you have or you can opt to pay for support services out of your own funds. You can also opt to do a mixture of payment methods.

As a Provider, we've tried to make it as hassle-free as possible, so you can focus on delivering the best quality of work you can. Which is why For Care efficiently manages the payments online and deducts our fee before depositing your earnings into your nominated account.

It's free to sign up!

We, the team at For Care, believe that everyone has the right to call the shots and to learn from the decisions they make - from picking what toothpaste is right for you, right through to deciding who you welcome into your personal space.

We genuinely believe in independence, choice and control just as much as we believe in fostering a safe, fair and reliable online community upon which to achieve those objectives. And, although we believe our For Care Customers are at the tippy-top of the pyramid in terms of delivering on those values we also want to make sure our For Care Providers can deliver care and support to the highest standards.

Our For Care community is about promoting true choice and control by linking people who need support services with those who provide them in a safe and reliable environment.

If you are seeking supports, then you can search for the specific service you require, or even search for providers local to your area and find the person that's right for you. You then have the choice of contacting them to discuss your requirements, before negotiating times and hourly rates. You have the freedom to search through the network of high-quality providers and choose who, when, where and how you'd like to engage them.

If you are providing supports, then you can be contacted by people from within your community who would like to engage your services. You can then negotiate a mutually agreed hourly rate and can confirm your availability. As a provider, you know the importance of supporting the independence, choice, and control of those you work with - but the For Care platform aims to provide similar opportunities to you as well.

For Customers

Providers only have access to see your full profile once you have an approved Agreement in place. Even then, Providers only have access to the necessary information required to support you, such as the care needs and medical history you've provided.
That's great - we're glad to hear you've found a keeper! Since it's free and easy to register with For Care, simply have them jump online and register as a For Care Provider. After that you can search, message and book a shift with them, just like you would any other Provider on For Care (and this way you've both got the added protection of insurances and support from the For Care team).

We love to hear from you about Providers in our For Care community! Please send our Feedback Team an email at support@forcare.net.au or call us on 1800 931 143.

After you contact a Provider with your request, they will send you their hourly rates, which you are both able to negotiate. Once you agree to an hourly rate (or rates for varying shift types) for your request then this will form the agreement between you and the Provider and the Provider will be paid for the hours of work which are completed.

Of course, that's what our Support Team are here for! Just send us an email at support@forcare.net.au.

Your profile should include details about you such as your interests, hobbies, where you're located, and other things like that.

But it should also include information that your team of Providers will need to be able to assist you, such as any medical history or Care Plans you might have. Don't worry - this information is only available to Providers once you have engaged them and have an active Agreement in place.

To cancel a shift, you need to give at least 24 hours notice and can do so by sending a message to your Provider through For Care.

If you do have any concerns though, please don't hesitate to contact us via email, support@forcare.net.au or phone, 1800 931 143.

Simply login and go to Account Settings > My Profile, then click Edit Profile. Any changes made will then be resubmitted to the Quality Team for approval.

To organise your support team, decide what types of care or support you need and the days and times you want them.

Then use the Find Providers function to look for people local to you. Once you find someone, send them a message and let them know what you're looking for and that you'd like to get to know them.

After you register you'll need to complete your profile and submit it for approval to our Quality Team. Once approved, you're ready to start searching for Providers and building and hiring your team.

Just go to www.forcare.net.au/Account/register and select which account type applies to you, fill in your contact information and click Register.

Then check your personal email account for the verification email and follow the steps from there. Remember to check your spam/junk folders, just in case!
